We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal or scope for your Diagnostic Review, and set up your engagement if you move forward. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Financial and Platform Data
Once you engage us as a client, delivering our service involves connecting to systems such as QuickBooks Online, your sales channels (e.g. Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, Walmart), and integration tools like A2X and TaxJar, in order to reconcile transactions and prepare your books. Access to these systems, and how your financial data within them is handled, is governed by the Monthly Accounting Services Agreement you accept when you sign up with Merchant Place Books — not by this website. We access only what's needed to perform the agreed-upon bookkeeping work, and we do not use your business's financial data for any purpose outside that engagement.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us, whether submitted through this website or exchanged during an active engagement. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
